ARTICLE 2

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

(a) To ensure that Medical and Dental Practitioners in this country uphold the physicians' Oath (i. e. the Declaration of Geneva)which is the modern Hippocratic Oath.

(b) To promote the advancement of Health, and allied Sciences.

(c) To assist the governments and peoples of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the provision of smooth,efficient and effective health care delivery system in the Country.

(d) To promote the welfare and interaction of all medical and dental practitioners in the Country

(e) To co-operate with organisations anywhere in the world which have similar aims and objectives

(f) To consider and express views on all proposed legislations and national issues especially those affecting health care delivery system and medical and dental education in Nigeria.
