ARTICLE 20

INSTITUTIONAL BASE

1. The Association's fee for Institutional Base support shall be TEN per cent of the total project cost provided this shall not include the contingency part of it.

2. The fee shall also apply to all State and FCT - Abuja branches. NDA, AGPMPN, MDCAN, NARD and all other recognized professional groups within the Association on each occasion each one of them serves as an Institutional Base.

3. The NEC, Executive Council of each branch or recognized professional group shall decide the extent of the Institutional Base support it shall provide for any project or research.

4. The President-In-Council shall be informed through the Secretary-General by any State or FCT - Abuja branch, NDA, AGPMPN, MDCAN, NARD or any other recognized professional group that has decided to provide Institutional Base support for any project or research within three months of that decision.

5. The NEC shall have the power to direct any State, FCT - Abuja branch, NDA, AGPMPN, MDCAN, NARD or any other NMA recognized professional group to submit information about the Institutional Base support it/they provided for any project or research in the past.

6. Any request or appeal for a variation of the Association's Institutional Base support fee shall be granted by a 2/3 majority of members of NEC present at a meeting provided no State/FCT - Abuja Branch or any recognized professional group within the Association shall have the power to entertain or grant variation to the Institutional Base support fee as contained herein in this Constitution.
